I'm so sorry...

I am sad in a kind of vague way all day today, can’t really say what caused it or why. I do have memories going through my mind all day long of a love that never came off the ground, it hurts, because we seemed right. Realizing it is over...is saddening. But don't know if that triggered my blue-ish emotions or if it was the other way around.. I do know that everything that comes along today seems like sand paper rubbing my skin.  Oh Yes, life can be messy sometimes, but life is also good as long as you have the people around you that you love and that love you. My thoughts go out to those who lost someone they love, like my dear Etsy friend Liane...I am so very sorry for your loss...

Remembering...

I used to be a freelance textile designer by profession. I stopped doing so about ten years ago because i felt the islotaion i needed to create was a too high price to pay at that point in my life. By then i still did not have kids and felt i serioulsy needed to go out and find a father to my sweeties, coz the biological clock was ticking away...The lonelyness sometimes felt like a stone on my shoulders. working ten or twelve hours a day, being alone in my studio, day in day out. For several weeks on end without seeing or speaking to anyone for days. I felt i needed this isolation, because i was in my 'flow' and wanted to squize out every drop of inspiration from my soul onto the blanc paper. These days i remember those days a lot, feeling my hands itching to start on some new designs for the textile market... Let's see what happends.....

I used materials like, felt, silk, linen, lace, and paper.. some even have beeswax on them....
